PURPOSE:To save man-power and to make efficient in the banking facilities, by enabling to issue certificates such as time deposit with the operation of the customer itself. CONSTITUTION:The customer inserts the mangetic card 12 to the card insertion slit and depress the transaction selection key desired by itself. Next, the amount of money for a time deposit and the desired period are input by the ten key. The unit reads in the recorded information on the card 12 with the card reader/writer 13 and fetches it in the control section 18. Next, the control section 18 edits the electric message for certificate issue and processing and transmits it to the center via the terminal controller 19. After the center performs required check, it transmits the telegraphic message relating to the issue of certificate and renews the residual amount infomation. When the control section 18 receives this message, it transmits the instruction of issue to the certificate issue section 17 and the information required for the print of the certificate. The section 17 discharges the certificate recording the transaction information such as account number, amount of money and expiration date on the print column and magnetic medium of the certificate paper. On the other hand, the card 12 is returned from the card insertion slit. |
