PURPOSE:To remove the residual chlorine contained in raw water, by jetting the raw water from the nozzle and exposing to sunlight and also, contacting with fresh air after contacting the raw water containing a small quantity of the residual chlorine with the electrode applied positive voltage. CONSTITUTION:The raw water 1 containing a small quantity of residual chlorine, is put in the electrolytic bath 2 equipped the cathode electrode 3 and the anode electrode 4. Electric discharge reaction of the water 1 is carried out on the surface of the electrode 4 and contained Cl is converted into Cl<-> ion. The water 1 containing the above Cl<-> ion, is atomized on the vessel 8 from the nozzle 7 through the duct 6 and the branch tube 6a. On this occasion, atomized water is sufficiently exposed to sunlight and also, is fully contacted with fresh air. As a result of it, Fe2O3 is produced by reacting Fe<+3> ion formed by the decomposition of the water 1 with O2 in the air and is precipitated at the bottom of the vessel 8. Then, the above Fe2O3 is discharged from the drain valve 9 and supernatant liquid is taken out from the valve 10. |
