<p>This invention is directed to the preparation of a compound, which in one of its possible tautomeric forms, is represented by formula I I wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or, together with nitrogen atom to which they are attached, from the pyrrolidino or the piperidino ring, and X is bromine or chlorine, in which a napthalene compound of the formula wherein R1 and R2 are as defined above is reacted with a phenacyl halide. These compounds are useful intermediates in the preparation of pharmaceutical products having antiinflammatory and analgetic activity.</p> |
