PURPOSE:To provide a display device simulator capable of considerably shortening a simulating time without using a high speed computer. CONSTITUTION:In a device for simulating the display characteristic of a display device composed of pixels arranged in a matrix shape, this device is provided with a reference table tabulating part 21 for considering the propagation delay characteristic of driving waveforms at the respective positions of the displaying pixels, calculating the voltage Vsig of the displaying pixel corresponding to a display signal voltage with a predetermined interval and the coordinates (x), (y) of the position on a displaying plane as an effective voltage Vrms and tabulating these relations, an interpolation calculating part 22 for obtaining the voltage Vsig out of the inputted various kinds of parameters, referring to the table of the reference table tabulating part 21 in accordance with the voltage Vsig and performing the interpolation calculation of a voltage Vrms at the necessary coordinates (x), (y) of the position on a displaying plane which is not found in the table and a voltage luminous converting part 30 for converting the voltage Vrms obtained from the table and the interpolation calculating part 22 to a luminous value. |
