<p>PURPOSE:To increase the concentration of desorbed materials in regenerating process and also to decrease the amt. of an adsorbent used in adsorbing process, by regenerating an inactivated adsorbent with a heated gas to be processed. CONSTITUTION:Four-fifth of the surface area of a honeycomb-like adsorbing body 1 having a fiber-like active carbon as an adsorbent are in adsorbing process and one-fifth is in regenerating process and the areas in the processes are successively changed by rotation of the adsorbing body 1. >=1/2 of a gas to be processed is adsorption-processed in the adsorbing body and the remaining <1/2 of the gas is heated by a heater 7 and processed in regenerating process. Due to using a not processed gas as a gas for reproduction of an inactivated adsorbent, the concentration of a material to be adsorbed is increased after the regeneration process and firing of the material by a catalyst-using combustion apparatus becomes easy. Moreover, because of decreased amt. of the gas to be processed, the amt. of the adsorbent to the needed is decreased.</p> |
