The back part (3) of the seat (1) has an elevated section (2) acting as a head rest. The seat is designed in bucket shape with two projecting wings (4,5) continuing in horizontal edges elevated above the actual seat part. The two edges have recesses serving as an anchoring for the table (16) while the seat (1) rests on the actual seat of the car by legs (8,9). One of the vertical edges (5) carries a strip (20) fastened to the edge by Velcro (RTM) fabric. The strip carries a number of fasteners in pairs, spaced so that a short strip (25) with the complementary parts of the fasteners can be pressed into a required position forming an eyelet through which the upper end of the diagonal strap is pushed. The different height positions of the eyelet make the seat suitable for children of various heights.
