PURPOSE:To increase the line efficiency, by simultaneously transmitting the television signal and the a facsimile signal through the use of microwave line. CONSTITUTION:The television audio subcarriers 2a, 2b are located at the upper band of the video signals 1, 1c. This subcarrier is frequency-modulated with the audio signal S. The facsimile subcarrier 4 is located at the band not giving beat to each subcarrier between the audio subcarrier 2b and the pilot signal 3. This subcarrier 4 is frequency-modulated with the facsimile signal, allowing to place the facsimile signal on the same base band of the television signal. Further, by modulating the facsimile signal with the video signal with replacement at the reception side, the operation can easily be monitored. |
