PURPOSE:To prevent magnetism from being reduced even in case of applying a fluid having high temp. by providing a guide plate for guiding a fluid downwardly and a movable magnet roller in a magnetic separating apparatus for separating a ferrous metal by utilizing magnetism. CONSTITUTION:From a rear side portion of a duct 8 for introducing a solid fludized material formed to a top portion of an enclosure 7, a guide plate 9 bent in an arch shape so as to divide said enclosure 7 into two chambers is provided and a lower side of the guide plate 9 is formed as a passage for taking out a ferrous metal material. A magnet roller 12 provided to a back side of this guide plate 9 is attached to an opened hollow barrel portion 13 to be prevented from temp. raising due to the heat conducted from said guide plate. If temp. is raised, the magnet roller 12 is retracted and a gap therebetween can be widen. The magnet roller is rotated to the direction of an arrow and cooled by passing a cooling medium through said double walled guide plate 9. |
