PURPOSE: To obtain a net structure with liq.-tightness and which can be sewn together by assembling at least two kinds of biocompatible reabsorbable yarns being cellulose as a base and a polyglycol type synthetic material and with different properties. CONSTITUTION: This reabsorbable net consists of an assembly of at least two biocompatible reabsorbable yarns with different properties, wherein one is regenerated oxycellwlose as a base and another one is polyglycol type synthetic material. This cellulose can be spun and knitted. In addition, the synthetic yarn is based on a polymer of glycolic acid. As a pref. method, a copolymer of glycolic acid and lactic acid with a ratio of about 90/10 is used. Based on its good mechanical strength, this net provides complete satisfaction for supporting a damaged organ and regeneration of tissues. |
