<p>A ship underwater hull is provided having a reduced resistance to advancement. The hull has two gutter-shaped symmetrical ducts (2, 3) open outwardly, for allowing the evacuation of displaced water. The two gutter-shaped ducts (2, 3) start at the lowest point (4) of the stem of the hull and diverge rearwardly from each other by progressively drawing away from the longitudinal median plane of the hull, then extending upwardly along the ship sides until above the floating line (O), the ducts having a section which is continuously increasing. <IMAGE></p> |
