<p>The plunger piston valve has a sealing ring (2), which can be pressed together axially and seals a housing (3) through which the flow passes from below in the direction of the arrow. The piston (1) connected to the valve spindle (5) consists essentially of the sealing ring (2), the two piston parts (10,11) clamping it, and a supporting body (12) for the second piston part (11). The sealing ring (2) is seated, in the closed position, in a bore in the housing which is provided with cladding (18). The one piston part (10) is arranged on the low-pressure side and is coupled directly to the spindle. The other, thin-walled piston part (11) is mounted on the first piston part (10), with the supporting body (12) connected between them, which supporting body transmits the tightening force, which provides the clamping force for the sealing ring, to the second piston part, in the region of the circumference of the piston. A loaded plate spring (15) is connected between the second piston part (11) and the supporting body (12), which plate spring (15) maintains a considerable part of the axial compression in the opened state, on seating and also without increasing the pressure. In such a plunger piston valve, the necessary axial compression of the sealing ring can be applied in the closed position without a stop on the housing side. <IMAGE></p> |
