PURPOSE:To feed a kneading extruder with compounded raw materials with high efficiency and in a stalbe manner by a method wherein a pair of parallel screws opposed to the tilted surface of one lateral wall of a casing communicating with the inlet port for the compounded raw materials are provided in the specific arrangement and rotational direction. CONSTITUTION:The lateral wall of one side of a casing 1 continuing from an inlet port 2 for compounded raw materials is made to be a tilted surface 3, while a pair of parallel feeding screws 4 and 5 rotating in the inward direction are provided opposite to the tilted surface 3. The compounded raw materials are drawn forcedly in between the screws 4 and 5 from a hopper 10, and so they cause no bridging, nor closure in and around the inlet port 2. Since the blades of screws 6 and 7 are formed to be overlapping with each other, the compounded raw materials fed downwards cannot get away upwards and, being subjected to pressure and deaeration by the blades of screws 6 and 7, are fed to a kneading extruder. |
