<p>Installation of the water flow controller in a washing machine without the aid of tools and carried out by the layman is ensured by the control and alarm unit (I). It includes an earthed plug for insertion into the washing machine and a relay operating the solenoid valve to which it is connected by conductor (10). The valve is controlled by an additional switch (14), the deenergisation of the valve solenoid ensuring that mechanically it is in the closed position for stopping the water flow. Cable (15) terminates with a water sensor (16) fitted with two electrodes (17). The solenoid valve is connected to water inlet by an union nut of the water cock and a similar nut ensures its connection to the washing machine inlet. The acoustic alarm (II) is switched off by switch (14), and lamp (12) indicates that the unit is ready for the operation.</p> |
