Blinds are used to conserve or reflect heat from the sun. The reflecting surface components are made from a more rigid material, and those translucent parts permeated by radiation from a softer material. The reflecting parts are glued to one or more translucent parts, in strip shapes. Folds may be fitted with a flexible strip for space retention. Aluminium foil pieces or thin strips may be used for reflection. The sidewall faces for permeation on the window side may be of glass transparency, while those on the inside are painted or coloured. Blinds may be mounted in front of collector and/or storage surfaces.
