<p>A reconditioning jig for a windscreen wiper blade has a box shaped holder into which the blade is clamped between two lips (9, 9') and adjustable baffles (3, 3') to locate each side of the blade edge (13). This supports the edge and allows cleaning and trimming of the edge without damage. The box shaped holder (6) is fitted with tightening bolts (16) to clamp the blade while the baffles comprise L-shaped sections on adjustable fittings (19) on the sides of the box section. The jig can be adapted to suit most blades and extends the life of a blade as well as providing an improved cleaning action by trimming off insects and grit.</p> |
