Improvements in shaftless wind motors for electrical power production. A shaftless wind motor is based on a series of columns 1 on which two or more sets of pulleys/AC generators are fitted 3-4, through whose pulleys 3 cables 2 run forming a flexible, closed transmission line, which being situated in a horizontal plane is a carrier crosswise to this of a series of blades 5, so that the force of the wind pushes the blades 5, passing through the pulleys 3 and transmitting the energy to the AC generators 4. The proposed improvements include a mechanism 6 reducing the centrifugal acceleration on the blades 5, as they pass through the pulleys making them describe a path of greater radius than that of the pulley 3 through which they are passing. Another improvement consists of incorporating a speed variator mechanism based on a truncated cone configuration of the pulleys 3 through which the cable 2 slides, so that it can travel along the lateral surface of the pulleys 3 in the event of variations in wind force, thus enabling the appropriate ratio to be maintained between the speed of the turbine and that of the AC generator. <IMAGE>
