<p>The arrangement is used for cutting wooden boards or planks to the correct length and at the desired angle, partic. for end shields of cable reels. It comprises a first conveyor (1) supplying the boards (2) to a glueing station to produce a continuous length, an end stop (14) activating a first saw (4), and transverse conveyors (5) to take the cut lengths (11) to a second conveyor (6) parallel to the first. Saws (9a, b) arranged above and below this conveyor (6) alternately cut each board at opposite angles, each board being located by one of two stops which operate in conjunction with the saws (9a, b) and with board clamps.</p> |
