PURPOSE:To remove only ion from a suspension by a method wherein an ion exchange resin is continuously supplied into a cylindrical rotary screen having a mesh size of an extent not flowing the ion exchange resin to the exterior thereof and, thereafter, the resin used in the treatment is regenerated. CONSTITUTION:An ion exchange apparatus is constituted from a suspending tank having a suspension supply port and a deionized suspension takeout port, the cylindrical rotary screen having a mesh size of an extent not flowing out ion exchange resin porticles to the exterior thereof and a resin regenerating apparatus. For example, a suspending tank 5 having a supply port 7 of a suspension 6 to one side wall and a deionized suspension takeout port 8 to the other side wall is provided. Within this tank 5, the cylindrical rotary screen 10 having a mesh size of an extent not flowing out the ion exchange resin particles 9 to the exterior thereof is provided in a condition inclined to a predetermined angle and, to one end of this screen 10, a regenerating apparatus 14 is provided. |
