An arrangement for maintaining of unchanged mutual distance in the starting position between two electrical contact elements 30a, 40 each one carried by a separate structural part 21, 23 which can shift from a variable starting position toward the other structural part, is based on two screw connections 22a, 23a and 23e, 26c with equal pitch. While the first screw connection controls the adjustment of the mutual distance between the two structural parts in the starting position, the working of the second screw connection compensates for this adjustment motion as regards the contact element. The arrangement can be used for many different applications within technology, such as monitoring of parts of a machine tool or setting the pretension of a helical spring or similar elastic element. A special application is indication of the load in a rehabilitation cane or the like, in which a pre-stressed helical spring 32 is compressed. <IMAGE> |
