Process for synchronising return stroke of hydraulic actuators - regulates hydraulic fluid flow through mechanically coupled volumetric pumps using non-return valves and solenoid valves

On the forward stroke of the reciprocating actuators (2,3,4) the hydraulic fluid passes through non return valves (11,12,13). On the return stroke solenoid valves (27,28,29) are actuated to by pass the non return valves (11,12,13) and to allow the hydraulic fluid to pass back into the reservoir (14). The flow of hydraulic fluid is controlled volumetrically by pumps (5,6,7) which are mechanically linked to each other and to a motor (23) through a brake (31) to regulate the speed.
