The container consists of a framework made up of four longitudinal members joined by cross members and uprights. The space between the members is filled with separate panels. The panels are suspended from the top longerons to that the floor load is borne by the top longerons. The depth of the top members is greater than that of the lower members. The container is fitted with an access door with bolts and the beams are box beams with stiffened top sections. The base has a number of cross slots for the admission of lifting forks.
