PURPOSE:To fire under most optimal condition for various fuel by properly setting the outer diameter of central electrode and the gap between the outer diameter and the grounding electrode. CONSTITUTION:The tip section of a grounding electrode 17 is made cylindrical while a flange section is projected inwardly from the end face, and the tip section of a central electrode 19 provided in the ground electrode 17 while insulated from the ground electrode 17 is arranged at the flange section. The outer diameter of central electrode 19 is 2-8mm., the gap between the central electrode 19 and the inner diameter of the ground electrode 17 is 0.5-3mm. and the tip of the central electrode 19 is departed inwardly by 0-2mm. from the end face of the ground electrode 17. |
