The apparatus further comprises an extruding die 324 for receiving the web at one applying a plastics material in a plastic condition on to the web to form the body, side and connection portions and cooling means 332 for receiving and cooling the formed product. A second extruder may form a further layer of a different plastics over the first layer. The web may be hard plastics, cloth, aluminium, copper or stainless steel and may be perforated or expanded. The extruded plastics may be P.V.C. polyolefins or celluloses. Further apparatus may apply adhesive to the lower surface of the web together with a release paper 306. |
