<p>The cutter consists of a blade retainer and a connected cutting strip. The strip consists of a highly alloyed rapid acting sintered steel, eg. 62.5%Fe, 2.3%C, 0.4% si, 0.2%Mn, 4.0%Cr, 7.0%Mo, 6.5%W, 10.5%Co. and 6.5%V. The cutting strip (2) is rolled into the blade retainer (1) and is connected to it gaslight via a circumferential steel seam of stainless steel. Alternatively, thestrip may be positioned in a correspondingly shaped groove (3) of the retainer, and soldered to it via a layer of copper, or hard solder.</p> |
