<p>The solar heating system uses collectors installed on the roof, consisting of members with curved surfaces forming corrugations. This enables better use to be made of the heat of the sun all the year round including periods when the angles of the rays are low. Each member has a body with a flat base and channels covered with a transparent layer. Underneath an absorber layer at the bottom of each channel are grooves for circulation of the heat exchanger liquid, which may be water. The body can be made of material which can be cast and in which ingredients to improve the properties can be included. A surface treatment can be included. It can be of a mineral, organic or plastics material.</p> |
