The invention concerns a method for assembling by diffusion welding a martensite stainless steel and a copper alloy, and in particular a method for assembling a martensite stainless steel element with an element containing copper. Said method can be used for example for making a bimetal part designed to function at high temperature. It comprises in particular a step which consists in degreasing and pickling the surfaces of the elements to be assembled, a step which consists in directly contacting the degreased and pickled surfaces of the elements to be assembled, and a step which consists in assembling by diffusion welding.
