Slide rule for determination of component sizes - has component slide operating on base scale element

A slide rule calculator allows the dimensions and number of components for the production of fittings, frames etc. The unit has a main bar (1) with a dimensional scale (11). A compound slide (2, 3) contains a top element with an aperture (2) that gives access to the main scale. The top element has a number of markers (23) while the second element has numbered markings (24). When moved to the selected positions, the number of components and the various sizes, e.g. height, width, depth can be read off directly.
