PURPOSE:To provide titled compsn. having excellent physical characteristics and fabrication properties, consisting of an ethylene-ethylenically unsaturated silane compd. copolymer, a silanol-condensation catalyst and an inorg filler. CONSTITUTION:A mixt. of (A) 40-90wt% copolymer composed of ethylene and 0.001-15wt% ethylenically unsaturated silane compd. of formula RSiRn'Y3-n (wherein R is ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbyl, hydrocarbyloxy; R' is aliph. satd, hydrocarbyl; Y is hydrolyzable org. gp.; n is 0-2) and (B) 60-10wt% inorg. filler such as kaolin or pyrophyllite, is mixed with (C) a silanol-condensation catalyst such as dibutyltin dilaurate or zinc naphthenate in an amount of 0.001- 10wt% based on the weight of (A). |
