PURPOSE:To make possible the analysis of high accuracy with less amount of specimen solution by disposing the flow cell type detectors consisting of pairs of ammonium ion selecting electrodes and reference electrodes on the upper stream side and lower stream side of an oxygen reactor, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned detectors 4, 4' are disposed before and behind the oxygen reactor 5 containing fixed urease. The specimen solution injected from a sample lead-in part 3 is held between the buffer solution 1 being fed by a feed pump 2 and is carried to the detector 4. Next, the electromotive signal by the disturbing components in the sample measured with the detector 4 is once held in a holding circuit 7. Thence, the electromotive signal by the (ammonium formed + disturbing components) obtained by measuring the specimen sample through the reactor 5 by the detector 4' is sent to an amplifier 6'' and at the same time the signal sent from the circuit 7 is subtracted therefrom. The result is displayed as an urea nitrogen concentration in a display device 9 (here, 8 is a system calibrator which performs calibration by using a reference standard solution). |
