METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CANADIAN STANDARD FREENESS IN FIBER SLURRY BEATER ADDITION In the preparation of beater saturated fiber sheet materials in which polymers in latex form are incorporated into water dispersions of the fibers and deposited thereon, the Canadian standard freeness is readily controlled by adding to the fiber furnish, before addition of the polymer latex, a small amount of a water soluble anionic polymer or watersoluble salt thereof.
