An electrical apparatus, like a capacitor having an improved dielectrical system was described. The dielectric system has improved dielectrical properties and the polybutene is diodegradable to minimize the pollution of the atmosphere when the dielectric liquid is exposed to the atmosphere. Extended service life can be achieved by the addition of a cyclohexyl amine to the liquid dielectric.
