PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a communication apparatus to perform a prescribed processing on the basis not of the calling number of the opposite party but of the receiving number of the opposite party even when the opposite party uses the communication lines for transmission only and for reception only in the communication apparatus capable of receiving a caller's number sent from the communication lines. SOLUTION: When a number for calling that coincides with a caller's number received by the communication apparatus is registered, the communication apparatus that preliminarily registers the numbers of the communication lines for transmission only and for reception only of the opposite party can perform a prescribed processing on the basis of the number for reception by converting the received caller's number into the number for reception registered in accordance with the number for transmission.
