PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner with which the drawing of air close to a discharge port side is prevented and which has high cleaning performance. SOLUTION: This air cleaner is provided with a suction opening 4a in the front part of a housing 3 internally equipped with a blasting means 1 and a dust collecting means 2 and the discharge port 5 in the flank part thereof and is so constituted that the air introduced into the housing 3 from the suction opening 4a by driving of the blasting means 1 is passed through the dust collecting means 2 to be cleaned and this cleaned air is led out from the discharge port 5 to the outside of the housing. The suction opening 4a disposed in the front part of the housing 3 is formed to a slender shape along the front end edge in the flank part provided with the discharge port 5 of the housing 3. |
