<p>In the travelling control of objects (vehicles 1, 2,,,,i) moving along a common path or track, at least two signals are transmitted in a transmission medium (21) which extends linearly along the path or track, at least one first signal (a travel permission signal) is from source 27 transmitted and received constantly by all of the objects (vehicles 1, 2, 3...i,...n) which are on the path or track, and a further second signal (a free signal) from source 24 can be passively interrupted in case of necessity by each object (vehicle). Upon such interruption the second signal receiver 26 acts to cut off the first signal (travel permission signal) and rapid braking of all the objects is automatically triggered. <IMAGE></p> |
