PURPOSE:To improve workability by allowing a pickup to rotate on the circumference of an operation reference line all the time by exercising radial feed control as much as a shift from the fixed operation reference line of the pickup. CONSTITUTION:To pickup support plate 11 with center 16 of rotation on shaft 1, a pickup with operation center 20 is fitted. Pickup support plate 11 is given a partial notch and its unnotched part serves as light shielding part 26. Opposing to this shielding part 26, light source 27 and photo detector 28 are fitted on both sides to fitting plate 29 fixed to case 13. Shift Q from operation reference line 23 extended from rotation center 16 in parallel to track direction 22 is detected by detecting method 30 to exercise control over feed in radial direction 24, thereby allowing the pickup to rotate near operation reference line 23 all the time. Consequently, the workability of the pickup improves. |
