The two-fluid mixing valve is esp. for hot and cold water, having one or more valves regulating the total flow. The valve is contained in a housing accommodating a rotary control member with openings and which adjusts other openings in the housing connected to supply pipe. A conical valve plug and seat in the housing have sealing faces downstream of the member, the plug being pressed by water pressure against the seat. Initial rotation of a hand grip lifts the plug off the seat, and subsequent rotation adjusts the setting of the member.
