<p>The device comprises a processor associated to a memory and to sensors and counters which allow the determination of the speed and the flow of vehicles as well as various parameters on the main axes leading to a critical crossroad. Each axis is cut out up-stream the critical crossroad, as an approaching link of the critical crossroad and a regulating seave. The processor controls the lights on the main axes and the secondary tracks, according to traffic light programs contained in the memory, so as to maintain the fluidity of the traffic in the approaching link.
