摘要 <p>The device is for measuring the roundness of cylindrical workpieces esp. for measuring constant dia. shapes and has a measurement sensor carried on a yoke with a prism bearing, resting on points on the workpiece on either side of the sensor. It enables measurements to be simply performed on short pieces such as crankshafts. Each prism body (5, 6) on either side of the sensor (2, 3) moves w.r.t. the yoke (4) as required and has two prism bearing points (5a, 5b, 6a, 6b). The prisms are mounted on the yoke so as to rotate w.r.t. it. Alternatively, the prism bodies may be mounted with rotational freedom on each arm of a two-arm lever which itself rotates w.r.t. the yoke. Further sensors may be mounted between the central sensor and the prism bodies.</p>
