<p>The bicycle frame consists of a number of tubes (2, 3) secured via screw connections to corner connectors (9) to form a polygonal frame structure. One tube (2) is secured to an upper corner connector of the frame by a split clamp fixture. The remaining connections are made via reinforcing bushes (18) provided with external screw thread fitting internal thread in the tube (eg. 3) end. The bush has a larger-dia. externally threaded portion (19) which forms a continuation of external thread (19') on that tube end for screwing into the internal thread of the corresponding corner connector (9).</p> |
