摘要 <p>This cabling element for optical fibres comprises a strip of plane general configuration 1 exhibiting a plurality of longitudinal cells 3 to receive loosely the optical fibres 4, the cells communicating with the exterior, in plane configuration of the strip, by access troughs 5, the opposite faces 7 of which, as well as the lateral sides 8, 8' of the strip, are conformed in such a manner as to form a winding of the strip 1 in the form of a hollow tubular element with the lateral sides 8, 8' made integral in sealed contact, the faces 7 of the troughs 5 likewise coming into contact and thus sealingly closing the cells 3 into which the optical fibres have been previously introduced by simple deposition. The strip is wound in a helix about a cylindrical carrier element to constitute a unitary cable element which can be used separately or in association with other elements to constitute high capacity cables.
