<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode substrate having a pinhole-free uniform film with superior adhering and insulating properties for an optical display device by coating an electrode substrate with a soln. contg. condensed silicic acid compound and having a specified viscosity and by heating the soln. to form the thin film. CONSTITUTION:An insulating substrate with an electrode formed is coated with a soln. having a viscosity of 10-300,000 cp and consisting of a condensed silicic acid compound represented by the general formula, one of glycerol, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, nitrocellulose, etc., and a solvent such as alcohols or esters, and the soln. is heat treated to form an inorg. compound film.</p> |
