Printed circuit board edge connector - with cam operated closure and double sided contacts

The connector consists of a fixed base carrying one set of contacts and two moving parts (2a,2b). The second part (2b) carries the upper set of contacts. The circuit board is put in place and the shaft (3) turned. The moving part (2a) is lowered by cam action to clamp the board (14) and the second part is pressed onto the board by a second cam on the same shaft to make electrical contact. The contacts include a row (5) along one edge having a flexible strip form with a terminal loop turning back over the edge of the board.
