A control desk for setting the points of model railways consists of a grid covered by an exchangeable mask fixed at a distance from an electrically conducting plate, both being attached inside a frame. Pressure pins are located at the points where there are holes in the mask through which contact springs attached to the openings of the grid can be elastically deformed far enough to make contact with the plate. The pressure pins may be made from light permeable material and can be fitted with electric light bulbs.
