PURPOSE:To obtain a softening agent suitable as a disinfectant fiber softening agent and a hair rinsing agent and having an antibaterial or disinfectant property from a dialkyl type quaternary ammonium salt and an alkyl ether sulfate. CONSTITUTION:A dialkyl type quaternary ammonium salt (A) of the formula I (where R1 and R2 each is a 10-14C straight or branched chain alkyl group, R3 and R4 each is a 1-3C alkyl or benzyl group or a 2-4C hydroxyalkyl group, and X is a monovalent anion) and an alkyl ether sulfate(B) of the formula I (where R is a 8-16C straight or branched chain alkyl group, n is approx. 1.5-8, and M is an alkali metal) are mixed together in a proportion of (A):(B)=98.2:2-80:20, preferably 95:5-85:15, to obtain a disinfectant softening agent composition. |
