<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of blades by providing an adjusting device to adjust a blade angle automatically according to a wind velocity so as to keep the rotating speed of the windmill to a certain limit. CONSTITUTION:A wind pressure control mechanism 7, 7 is constituted by fixing a cam 11 respectively at cylindrical ends with fixed shafts 3b, 4b of blades 3a, 4a secured to rotating shafts 8, 8', and having a side of the cam 11 contact to a press ring 13 against a coil spring 12 so as each of blades 3a, 4a with surfaces facing to the wind bent internally is stabilized at a position inclined about 45 degrees. Hence, the windmill rotates efficiently under a low velocity wind, and the blade 3a moves backwards as shown by the chain line under a strong wind, and thereby changing the blade angle so that it automatically controls the blade angle as well as by the wind pressure control mechanism 7, 7 in accordance with the wind velocity and prevents the damage of blades.</p> |
