PURPOSE:To mount and regulate brushes easily, and simplify the construction of connecting terminal portions thereof, by fixing base portions of a pair of brushes, each of which consists of a leaf spring, in a manner such that free end portions of the brushes are extended in the same direction symmetrically with respect to a rotor shaft. CONSTITUTION:Base portions 2b, 3b of a pair of brushes 2, 3, each of which consists of a leaf spring, are fixed side by side to the outer surface of an insulating board 1. Curved portions 2c, 3c at front end sections of the brushes 2, 3 are inserted into a brush insertion hole 13 provided in the insulating board 1, such that the brushes 2, 3 are extended parallel to each other in a direction and such that the curved portions 2c, 3c contact a commutator 4 in symmetrical positions thereon with respect to a rotor shaft 6. Thus, the brushes 2, 3 can be regulated easily during the installation thereof, and the connecting of terminals can be easily carried out on the outer surface of the insulating board 1. |
