PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and inspection by providing an optical image generation unit, which gives an optical image for check to the image pickup tube, in the X-ray TV unit using an image intensifier (II). CONSTITUTION:The visible optical image converted by an II is inputted to image pickup tube 9 through lenses 6 and 7 and semi-transparent reflection mirror 17. The video output of image pickup tube 9 is supplied to level deciding circuit 14 and TV monitor 11. Light source 15, lenses 16 and 7, and mirror 17 generate an optical image for check and input it to image pickup tube 9. Consequently, the video output for the input of the optical image for check to image pickup tube 9 and the video output for the input of the output image from the II to image pickup tube 9 are compared with each other by level deciding circuit 14, so that TV camera 10 and the II can be checked independently, and maintenance and inspection can be facilitated. |
