A lipstick housing with a light comprises a housing (100) with a case (102) and a base (104) containing an integrated light (112) that can emit light in a direction opposite (116) to the lipstick casing. Preferably the light is an incandescent lamp, light diode or laser diode. An independent claim is also included for a lipstick unit comprising the above.
