Matching circuit for spatial stereo program signal - has transmission element, simulating frequency dependent amplification of sound impinging direction under 30 degrees

The stereo program signal is matched by the circuit to an equalised headset. In the circuit left and a right transmission channels are each provided with a transmission element. In the transverse branches, additive coupling of the transmission channels is provided by delay elements with series-connected second transmission elements. The first transmission element (1) simulates the frequency dependent amplification at the adjacent ear or for a sound impingement direction of 30 deg., related to frontal sound impingement. The second transmission element simulates the frequency dependent attention at the distal ear under the same condition. The transmission functions of the elements of an additively coupled branch pair are adjustable in equal sense, while the transition time of each delay element (3) is independently adjustable.
