The equipment regulates the temperature of a hot-water central-heating system, using a valve adjusting the supply of hot water and outside the room served, and a thermostat inside it. A temperature-dependent expansion body (8) is coupled to the plug (10) of the valve, and adjacent to it is a heater element, connected in a circuit passing through the thermostat. The valve can be a thermostat valve, and the heater element can be an electrical resistance. The heater element (12) is mounted tangentially to the surface of the valve (3).
